Sleeping In My Bed

Liner Notes
I wanted to write an old-timey bluegrass spiritual and I guess this is sort of it? I tried.
Lyrics
Oh I’ve been running for so long And I’ve been heaven blessed I’ve seen and done so many things And I’m ready for my rest
So if you cannot find me Don’t worry your sweet head If you’re looking for me I guarantee I’ll be sleeping in my bed
I’ve given all I have to give And yet I’ll give some more And when it’s done I’ll get to dream Of that far-off golden shore
So if you cannot find me Don’t worry your sweet head If you’re looking for me I guarantee I’ll be sleeping in my bed

I'd love to throw some banjo on this. Except for the total lack of mention of God, or a god, or gods, of any kind, it does what you'd hoped. It has an old-timey spiritual flavor. Instead of dying, you're only sleeping. Preferable. It's been great fun listening to your stuff.
Oh this is sublime. My wife would love it, her bed is her favourite place (except she's having trouble actually sleeping at the moment).
But wow, what a song.
