This one goes out to @coolparadiso who, during the last FAWM zoom, uttered the phrases "a nice quiet nowhere" and "in the middle of a different nowhere," which I thought were so nice that I wrote them down and then turned them into this.

Lyrics

I’d like to be in the middle Of a nice quiet nowhere A different kind of nowhere Than the nowhere that I know I’d like to close my eyes And I’m really kinda hopin’ That when they start to open I’ll have somewhere else to go

The nowhere where I roam Is no place like home But I guess I kinda like it there But just ‘tween you and me I’d kinda like to see The middle of a different nowhere

I really love the folk feel you deliver here and absolutely adore the lyrics! Very relatable and capture a spirit of wanderlust and restlessness seeking new perspectives.

Oh this totally deserves to be developed.. Though it works as a short too...

@mtanguay

This is a lovely use of those phrases that caught your ear.

Too short! I wanted the nowhere to keep going. Pleasant, short and sweet!

So pretty, old timey and beautifully sung. Oh, it’s really short. I wanted more! ☺️ Great lyrics.

"I'd like to close my eyes/And I'm really kinda hopin'/That when they start to open/I'll have somehwere else to go."

Just. Great.
