Pardon me! I'm just now seeing your comment on Vintage Vinyl. So glad you could relate to this song. I enjoyed your reminiscing about the record stores of your youth.
Thanks for all your kind comments and for listening--looking forward to hearing you back next year!
Congrats on 14, sir. And thank you for being such a support to me as well. You're much appreciated and should inspiration tap you, feel free to drop a line to me if you want to collaborate on something.
maybe ill get up there for a visit sometime. if i do, i would like to meet you.
Your comment on "Hollow Dreams" makes my producer heart happy. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the comments on Moments and for listening. It was an easy song for me to write and is definitely intended as a positive message , to appreciate every moment and sometimes turn off technology and just appreciate what’s around us . Not heard the Dan Fogelberg song before and is a nice tie in .
Thanks for listening to Joey and Maria Pt 2 and your comments . Pt 3 is at least a positive ending ! Thanks again.
@saulius I can't thank you enough for sharing your listening experience with @billwhite51 and I on A Foggy Moon. Your sentiments are most kind and appreciated. Looking forward to hearing some of yours. Very nice to meet you!
I loved your comment about my screenname! It brought me to your page where I am exploring. We have a Seattle connection, since my husband and I lived there for over 20 years. Now, to go listen to more of your songs!
You are all too kind! I appreciate everything you say, your words mean a lot to me. Never offense taken to anything, I know you are guiding friends to meet other friends and that is a very important part of FAWM to me, the connection and the friendship and hearing each and everyone’s talents! Your climbing friend is a unique talent that I have been enjoying listening to. I’ve never collaborated with someone through the internet on any music, that is something I’d be willing to learn how to do! All of my collaborations have been in person writing or recording with musician friends. This year, my main focus was to accomplish the task I struggled with last year, which was writing a complete 14 songs. Next year, I think I should set a goal to collaborate with other FAWMers! Would love for that to be you or @javakat343 or both!!!
Thank you for your support and friendship. It was lovely meeting you on here and I look forward to hearing more of what you do after this years FAWM challenge! You should be very proud of your work this past month! You have some seriously amazing works of art. Thanks for your kind comments and for enjoying what I do!
Hi, @saulius, I want to thank you twice: First, for your comments on Our Own Private Love Song, my collab with @blainev83, and second, because that comment brought me to your page where I could explore here. I particularly enjoyed Your Real Name, and the way your vocal perfectly fit the music and the message. The song had me smiling from the first line!
I absolutely did act on your recommendation. Thanks for that! You'll let me know when it's completed, yes?
....and congrats on the promotion, sir! Well done!
Thank you so much for your thoughts on "Trying So Hard". It's so cool to hear what a song brings up for other people. Your comments really expanded the initial thoughts I had in originally writing the song. I appreciate that very much!
Your comments on my songs made my day! Thank you so much for all the kind words you wrote. I’m glad you enjoyed. Can’t wait to listen to yours!!!
No, I haven't read Carly Baer's thing. Glad it helped you, though. 😀
Absolutely. I listened to walking the rail the other day.
Heard the music so I've edited my comment on "I saw that picture..." rather than leaving a new comment--the more comments you end up with, the harder the song becomes to find for newcomers and I think this one deserves to get more listen/comments!
how are things a SIS? I left in the fall of 2012. i contributed two things to the group before i left. one was a sunday afternoon booking at the historical society in fremont that i shared with a hand=picked dozen or so fellow SISers. the other was a show i created for julie cascioppo that i called The House of Julie. it took place in the chapel in the former house for wayward girls in wallingford. the concept was a live variety show who would perform and be interviewed by julie. for the first show, i booked SIS members exclusively. the series continues to this day. when did you join?
Well met! Thanks for connecting. I'm looking forward to hearing your songs, too.
Your comment on "I Miss You Badly" really touched my heart, thank you so much for that. I'm so glad the song connected with you <3
You have made me blush - and that doesn’t happen very often. Thank you!
Hello friend! How goes it? Good to see you back in FAWMland. I read your goal(s) and I do hope you reach them. You're off to a good start. I'm going in for a listen. I'm out of town at the moment, but will try to chime in when time permits. Let's get it!
And I thank you for letting me into your creative process and ideas. I'm willing should you want to collaborate.
Thank you so much for your kind words about my thesis paper! I’m so happy that it inspired you. See you next FAWM!
