Great collaboration! Excellent lyrics (full of great lines like, "There aren't blankets enough to cocoon us") sung well and backed by a strong melody. Nice work, both of you!

The waltz really fits with these lyrics. The melody is appropriately melancholic. I am loving this. Really a great song.

these are leonard-cohen-level lyrics, and you seem to be checking cohen in the melody you put to the line "and you deserve nothing but truth in this truthless time." but you are ten times the singer that cohen was, which keep the song dancing in air. this is one of my favorite collabs.

As I've said a number of times, there's no such thing as a bad waltz. 3/4 time is almost cheating!! This one certainly came out well--great collaboration! Love it! ❤️

“You deserve truth in these truthless times”. Top Marks for that line (and so many others). As the world seems doomed to go through another paradigm shift comparable with that of the anti-democratic plague in the 1930s, those of us who are not crazy can only remain true to ourselves and our humanity, while the crazies and the MAGA zombies (and their European counterparts) blindly drive us to the brink of anhilation. This song is a perfect counterpoint to all that. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
