Happy FAWM! I'm still working out the kinks of the DAW I'm using so I'm aware of some annoying little crackly sounds in the recording but I still think it's a step up from voice memo-ing.

I admire your lyric style here (because I find it very difficult). Not too many words but well chosen ones, to paint mini pictures in the listener's mind - just suggestions of concepts so the listener can fill in between the lines with their own interpretations of the message. To me it's about the therapeutic power of writing. Beautiful voice!

Another lovely song Rachel. The melody of the chorus makes it so much of a hook. I just want to listen to it over and again. "February's shadow bringing longer days" Great line. loved it.

good song. add a tuner to your pedal chain. an out of tune guitar stands out. I mean this as constructive criticism. always check tuning before starting another take.

That chorus is delightful. I am challenging myself to try to write a couple of hopeful songs... I'm not sure I'll be successful but this one is a nice inspiration. beautiful.

What a voice. My word! I could listen to this all day. Reminds me of when I go camping up in the ADK. Sitting by a fire. At night. Stars out. Drinking and being merry. I think the crackle adds to the atmosphere! Great chords as well. Muy bein!
