Do You Ever Think
Liner Notes
Lyrics
Do you ever think How one day we’ll all be gone Maybe an asteroid tears through us like scissors through chiffon Or maybe we’ll ride up to the pearly gates With wrinkles on our faces No ragrats tattoos on our backs hunched at perfect angles Do you ever think?
What’s on your mind? A sense of future dread Stock market cashed out by the rich Or civil war bloodshed Maybe things will cool down if we take the ice out of the cup It’s displacing all the water and it’s already cool enough
Do you ever think
that today might be the last
Good or bad either way
But not much we can forecast
So we might as well embrace
the twisting of our fates
Floating like feathers
Blowing all around the place
Do you ever think?

Yes, I do think that's a very good idea! It's the best we can do, right? This song sounds great and your vocals deliver the goods!
So we might as well embrace the twisting of our fates Floating like feathers Blowing all around the place
So profound yet matter of fact.
On a sort of related note…I remarked just last night how the snow falling looked like someone ripped open a feather pillow and shook it out into the swirling windy sky.
Love the lyrics, they're really clever! Love how you took this laidback music and put some dire lyrics behind them. Makes you pay attention closely! Sick guitar riffs as well.
This has such a good solid groove, the lyrics are having an existential crisis but the vibes are all chill. The ice out of a cup lines are my absolute favourite, the conversational style is very "solving the worlds problems with your mates in the backyard after a few beers and the sun is out and it’s not so bad you know”. love to hear your stuff again!
Love it. Great listen on the random song jukebox. Nice one!
