Fantom Flute Loop

Liner Notes
It is, for me, FAWM mid-season. I’m trying to get 14 tracks done in less than 14 days because I’m not around for half the month. So you know the saying “all killer, no filler”.....well these next couple of tracks are perhaps a bit more filler!
I decided to try doing a couple of tracks that were essentially just loops, one on the Fantom and the other one within Reaper (called “Thrower of Loops”, which will be up shortly once I’ve posted it).
Since I bought the Fantom it has proved completely ideal for recording some loops and then improvising over the top with whatever my chosen instrument was. The main panel and the software make it dead easy to select an instrument/sound (there’s 7,500 sounds), select a track within the project your working on (there’s 16 tracks) lay something down, choose a different track, choose a different instrument and before you know it, there is some kind of music happening.
This track is me doing just that on the Fantom
Used to make this track: Reaper DAW (just to capture the audio and do some final balancing/eq) Fantom Bass, Muted Guitar, Brass Piano, Drums and Flute

Now that’s how you title a thing! I’m a sucker for a good title. This is a bop! Lots of cool sounds, the flute is majestic and the stabby chords are really really friggin cool. Aces!
Imagining planting bulbs in a garden - working steadily all day in the crisp clear sunshine. Would love to write a lyric while listening to this. It feels like it would take me to very different places than writing to whatever rhythm has gotten stuck im my head.
