Well this might be the most complicated mix I've made for fawm. I tested a bunch of new plugins, mostly spectral eq:s like soothe and pro-Q4 and a eq-masker fuser to clear up my mix. A few places I got what I wanted but I ended up cluttering my mix with a lot of plugins and ended up with almost crashing my computer.
I wrote with some chord progressions that have way too proggy inversions for me to really learn or remember and on top of that the chorus goes in: 7/8+8/8+8/8+9/8 7/8+8/8+9/8+8/8 That was a complete nightmare to compose vocals and write lyrics.
Lyrics
Verse 1: It's too bad that the mirror we hold on ourselves is flawed to the core to paint a perfect picture we need to see behind the cracks again
Pre-chorus 1: faults distorted slow down and see the picture in the mirror and how it makes you feel
Chorus: Too sick and shallow just turn it to pain like looking through windows on the rainiest days when everything turns all distorted and grey we need to be reminded the darkness will fade
Verse 2: We're caught in a cycle of anger and pain To face the reflection means facing the blame The future is only bound to be the same if lessons are lost and we don't mean to change
Pre-chorus 2: What if in the mirror we saw more than the shame? Could we see through the damage And love what remains?

Wow, just another banger. I already enjoyed the lead guitars in the verses. The pre-chorus is so strong. But the highlight is that brass sectiont hat came super unexpected. I really love this!
Last year I completely forgot to ask you if you publish your music somewhere. I really want to listen to the final versions, cause you remind me a lot of my favourite bands Kent and Katatonia.

Pretty rad rock-'n'-roll man! Much better than anything that's on the radio. The lyrics reflect so much of what we are living now. Love your voice, so full of character!

I do like the groove of the song, it is my cup of tea. Lyric is also a great reminder that darkness will fade, that is just how things work. History is like a spiral.
I can see how you put an effort into the mix and I hear what you are going for. My opinion though of that your other songs have a better sound but I like it when it is a bit thick. I listen in Bose Noice reduction ear plugs.

All that work paid off, because this doesn't sound like a nightmare to me! This is excellent work...great sounding track with a message we all needed to hear. Great stuff!

Man, I am just so impressed with the pure breadth of your musical talent! So many different styles and inspirations combined within each of your songs and yet they never feel disjoint; somehow, they always come together in this perfect amalgamation. Really great stuff!
