Hi, Todd Phipps here..I'm a Hammond player and multi-instrumentalist in Mount Horeb WI (near Madison) who mainly hangs in blues/soul/funk world as far as the bands I play in go but I love to rock too.
Moving away from the hellscape run by a certain elongated muskrat...I can be found at @toddtheb3nut.bsky.social in der blaue Himmel. π
A couple of my bands:

Thank you for what is probably the last comment I'll get this FAWM! Love your hammond playing!
Hey man, thank you so much for your kind comment on "I Miss You Badly", made my day :)
Thank you so much for commenting many of my songs. I am so happy you enjoyed the different sounds. As you may have noticed I took a deep dive into your profile yesterday and you had a strong FAWM!
P.S. it will be very hard for me to join the Wednesday zoom Meetings in future as my long work day is on Wednesday. Please send the best wishes!
Hi, Todd. Nice meeting you on the Zoom call. Thanks so much for the listens and kind comments about Fairy Tales and Mysteries and Maintenance.
Hi Todd, thank you for the very kind comments and zonging a collab song "Quiet Strength" I'm glad it resonated with you, I have to give credit to those lyrics that T.C. wrote. It really brought out the performance. Thank you!!
Thanks for the comment on "Get Eaten (by some pigs)"! It's perhaps not the title I would've chosen for the song, but I trusted that to the judgement of @kembole and I think that was a fine choice. The story of that line is, there's this central hub area in Dark Souls 2 that is generally a safe place, except that there are these 3 little pigs in the corner of the area that are so small you have a hard time hitting them with your weapon, whereas they do enough damage to wreck a character that's just starting off.
Thanks for checking out Maybe glad you liked it!
Hey Todd, thanks for listening and commenting about my Ramblin' at Random and for recognizing the Monk reference.
Thanks for all your kind words Todd
how can i play a "hammond" part and not think of Todd? In my head it has got it all going on but i go simple/effective as my only choice/aim. All hail maestro and thanks for the comment
Hey Todd, thanks for listening and commenting on my song Short & Sweet. I totally appreciate your tip to use a reverse phase on the channels. I'm not experienced with doing that but I knew there was some way to attempt that. You've pointed me in the right direction...Much appreciated.
You probably know this band:
Turkuaz or
Turkuaz is my fav band "sound"
Thanks for the nod in the recommendations thread. I'm most chuffed!
Yes indeed, the lads from Liverpool were beyond extraordinary. What an amazing catalog of inspiration.
Thanks for the listen! Weβre up next. Had some logistic issues with a vocalist but we should be good by the weekend. And for some reason I thought I was following you, but Iβll fix that readily.
Thank you so much for the kind words on my music, Todd. I really do appreciate it.
Hey Todd! So glad to see you back on the FAWM horse for another year... keep up the great work!
Glad you liked Eye of the Storm Todd, thanks for the kind words
Hi Todd! Looking forward to seeing you around here. Happy FAWM!
Hey Todd! Good to see you back! Hope all is well. Let's make some jelly!
...like soon! π
Yeahhhhh Todd! It's been so nice keeping in touch with you on the socials throughout the year. Happy to be back here in FAWMland with you!
Thanks for your comment! I have to ask my friend if the synth on "Into The Abyss" is actually mellotron. I just have a wav file. Some months ago, he gifted me a zip file with a dozen unfinished riffs and loops, cause he quit producing music... It's sad, but I feel like I should something with the one or another idea.
Thank you for the comment on "Crucify the Elite"! Hahah, yeah, you got my point exactly! ;)
Pump that Hammond and crank out the goodies!
Thanks Todd. Hoping I can come up with something. Writers block has hit at the wrong time but weβll see what shakes loose
Thanks! All three of those Rolands have just been serviced (the JX-3P was completely dead; it was the first polysynth I ever bought, from Rod Argent's Keyboards in Denmark Street and I wasn't about to give up on it. Both Junos needed new sound chips and the Juno-60 now has new CPUs, because after forty years they'd failed. Not cheap...)
Happy FAWM 2025 Todd! Can't wait to hear what you come up with!
Excited to hear what you create this year, Todd!
hi Todd! Have a great FAWM!
Hey Todd! Good to see you back! Bring it on!
Hey Todd! Happy FAWM, friend!
Hey Todd I hope you're here this year! Waiting for your B3 to rock!
Looking very forward to your work this FAWM. FAWM on!
Hey Todd. I reverted back to my original FAWM account, so you're probably not following me here. This is where I'll be from now on. Happy FAWMing!
Thanks for an awesome FAWM, sir. I'm hoping to put this album together proper over the summer. If you have time (and interest or both)do you think it's possible you might can lend an assist with some overdubs? Not just organ, but other instrumentation as well? Just shoot me an email if the site has sunset before you read this.
