Liner Notes
maybe not exactly what was in my head when i wrote it in terms of how it's turned out so far. but it's a demo so it's cool. i still kinda dig it. anyway, on to the next!
Lyrics
The screw in the handle's the first thing to rust And as it breaks down the doorknob falls off One simple thing holds it together Until it doesn't
Duct taped the window after the crash Constant replacing from storms and nights out How did you fit all the elephants This room's barely big enough for the three of us
If I could go to the moon I'd walk in the shape of a heart just for you I hope you could see it from here I'll snap you a picture in case you can't.
Don't look down Ironic (iconic?) that I'm so afraid of heights When I can't stop reaching for the next rung Don't lose your grip Or everything else comes down with ya
It's snowing but it feels like spring. A growth spurt in my sleep Before I would get stuck in the pain But now I feel ready yeah i’m ready
If I could go to the moon I'd walk in the shape of a heart just for you I hope you could see it from here I'll snap you a picture in case you can't.

Just the overall sound is fantastic. Favorite line “until it doesn’t”. Vocals sound so good as well. 👍
I totally dig this. Love the lonesome electric sound, and the lyrical phrasing.
I love the atmosphere conveyed by the lyrics. And the delivery suits them perfectly. "One simple thing holds it together, Until it doesn't" Yup, we all know that feeling, I think.
This is great, love the bright gleamy guitar part.
Each stanza here feels like it could be its own song, each a piece of the story. The rungs, the elephants, the door handle screw. Good one. I'm not recalling if you usually have full band sound or not, but the lack of percussion here adds the loneliness of the would-be astronaut here.
Love the vibe of this one! There are a lot of great lines in here, too.
The guitar sound here is great. I love the change in the vocals and hte melody for the chorus, it goes from very reflective to very assertive in a way that totally works. Love the opening line.
