I did a quick acoustic one take but flubbed it so at the end I redid the bridge and then while I had it in the daw fixing the screw up I added some back ground vocals and then I added a little guitalele solo (with delay to make it sound more mando-ish.) And all said and done I could have this recorded for real instead of this off key kilter for the time spent. But I like it.

Gotta love 'em. Our dog started barking two nights ago and would. not. chill. out. But, like you said, "truth be told I love them all / In spite of their flaws" I like the call and response on the choruses at the end.

‘Those damn dogs’ quickly becomes a catchy refrain to holler along with you. Chord progression and the catchy hammer-on had me from the outset. The uke solo was a hoot - I have a couple of guitaleles but haven’t quite worked them into a song. Mando sim for the win!

Very catchy and well done! I sneak in from my studio late praying mine won't bark and wake my family. yup, she barks.. doing her job I suppose. My buddy once wrote a song called "warm your hands on the belly of the dog".. yes, I love those damn dogs, they can be frustrating but, also very utilitarian lol
