This is my first FAWM but I've wanted to do this since close to the beginning. I'm so excited to be in a place to do it this year.
Jeremy and his Kazoo take the healing powers of music and comedy and give e'm a little shake. He presents a paranoid, frustrated view of modern living that leaves audiences equally delighted and confused.

I'm so glad you liked my harp piece "Wings"! I'm looking forward to teaching it to my students next month!
Thanks for appreciating "Going Down the Hill Tonight". It was fun to do.
Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks much on Why?, that song is deep in my heart… I wanted it recorded with that set up, but wish my voice could go through with the guitar. Maybe a throat mic could work, I’ll have to think up options
Thanks so much for checking out my I Want A Yo-Yo song, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it and it brought back some memories.
Thanks for listening and commenting on my song “Love is Empathy” 🩵 I love my new little parlor guitar! Do you have one yourself? Or just a fan of em?
Hello! Thanks for the comment on "Reckon." I must say, I expected that one to go places. I showed it to the gen z'ers I work with and they were lukewarm as well, which is a bad sign for me and my age. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it!
Thank you for checking out PANTLERS!!! Maybe I'll send you a prototype when they're ready! :D

Thank you so much for listening to and commenting on my music!
And I am moar than a little bit excited to tell you 'bout my next big venture...PANTLERS! If you are a deer or an elk or have friends who are one of those critters, ya jes gotta check out PANTLERS!
I may be embracing those dandelions a bit more this year--they make for excellent food! I hear that its roots are good in a tea if you've been chowing down too much on the junk food and fast food, and are drowning your kidneys in phosphate derivatives. Can cleanse the junk out. The leaves are full of vitamins. Uh...unless you use chemicals.
Why am I pleading the case of dandelions all of a sudden? XD So glad you enjoyed the song. Thanks for the listen.
Catching up here on comments...thanks much for stopping by "Common" a few days ago! I'm really flattered to hear it's of a level that you'd put it on one of your playlists - means so much to me as a pretty novice songwriter to hear that <3
Now that it's officially Monday, I can tell you that I'm doing a concert at a seniors' home and doing nothing but Canadian songs. Lightfoot's Song for a Winter's Night is on the playlist along with Valdy, Murray McLaughlin and Joni Mitchell.
Thank you so much for your comment on my lyric, Motivator Mama. It was inspired by my experience with my daughter, and watching her with her oldest daughter. I'm crazy about neuro-spicy children. This world needs them!
Thanks very much for your kind comments on "Invisible", Jeremy. I appreciate the passing grade on the instrumental section, but, since I'm not keyboard-capable, I know it's pretty rugged. I should get a real key player to do the part for me.
So glad you decided to FAWM this year (my first too, though I technically "joined" in 2019). I'm glad you see the lullaby nature of the Queen Jane song too. Some of the old lullabies are really haunting when you examine the lyrics. But, as parents, we're singing/humming what's on our minds really--not always thinking "is this for the kids?"
Thanks for listening and commenting on "Where I Am" -- it's funny you mentioned wanting to do an interview about it because one of my friends wanted to ask me questions about it too! haha
Wow, that’s clever to use the harmonica thing for your kazoo! Very cool to feature it, too!
Thanks for your comment on the golden land. I'm sorry for your loss too. We adopted a puppy since Roach died, they're yin and yang in every way but I also think they would've really liked each other :)
Jeremy, Thanks for your comments on my Lyric Set "Tthe Wind Blows Thru hhe Trees". I'll be posting the music soon. We lived in Alberta for 12 years and would pass through Regina regularly. I used to do homeless ministry under the bridges in Pittsburgh, PA for many years. Heard a lot of stories and offered a lot of soup, sandwiches and prayers during those days
Howdy! Thanks for appreciating Jamestown Settlement Blues. It's true what you said about honor and dishonor. People, man......
Thanks for the comment on 'Hannah'!
Hey, thanks for the kind words on my tunes and for listening to that behemoth of a techno track, haha. I'm digging everything you're doing here, and am inspired by your choice to make the kazoo so prevalent. You don't get to see that often!
Thank you Jeremy for your kind comments and condolences. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. 99 is a good run and I hope you have wonderful memories of her.
Thanks very much for the positive comments, our singer is particularly delighted! 🤩
Thanks for your affirming comments on my song "Thursday". I probably was thinking of that old Momma' and Poppa's song " when I started but ended up doing my own thin anyway. It was VERY onetake but turned out pretty well anyway
https://write.fawm.org/songs/306999 Anxiety with sound. Thanks for stopping by to comment.
No offense taken! I took it as you meant it. It's always interesting to me to hear what a listener/lyrics reader things about where rhymes might fall or change or be refined. :) So my thanks was sincere.
Jeremy...you just commented on my song What You Say. Your comment felt like part of a song. Based on that, I had to come by and say hi. I will watchlist you and come back to check you out. I think what you said has a kernel of a song. #why use a cudgel when maybe a delicate paintbrush could do a better job. Things people over-react to, killing a cockroach with a cast-iron pan. Maybe because you mentioned comedy, it sort of crept in
Thanks for your comment on "The Moon Saw Everything" -- I appreciate the kind words and the suggestion, too, but there's actually no rhyme with that line on either verse. My rhyme scheme is ABCB for the verses, by design. So I'll take the rhyme under consideration, because you wanted a rhyme there, and that's valid as a listener, but it was intentional not to have one. ;)
Looking forward to checking out your work. Thanks again!
Thx for leaving a comment on my Zong! Definitely needs a punk band to put music to Dammit I’m Mad! Have a great FAWM.
Hi, have a great FAWM!
Welcome, and happy FAWMing!
RE: "top secret area" - green day is actually a really good catch! i've been listening to assorted tracks off American Idiot a lot recently since that was a huge comfort album as a kid, and i think the thing Billie Joe does on that album a lot where the melody goes (following the scale degrees) 2-1-7 - F♯-E-D♯ in E major, or C♯-B-A♯ in B which is the key TSA is in - might have been slipped in unconsciously... i do that movement in a lot of my stuff just 'cause it sounds cool. glad you dig the song!
