Lead guitarists

Lyrics
I love the flowery shirts from the seventies The guitarists with long hair Solos had their own melodies Like they had patented remedies for life
Made me feel like I was there Though I was way too young to care The seventies
Guitar solos in front of the church The eighties now Helicopters flying high Sweeping down then pulling back Underneath the bluest sky We’re in the eighties now
Made me wish that I was still there Longing for a time when I still had my hair A long time ago
I love the swagger and the way they stand Those guitarists from the past Playing from the heart they slammed Solid, dependable, steadfast
Made me feel like I was there I’m never too old to care Guitarists, guitarists

Nice chill song celebrating loud music 😁 We gotta bring back guitar solos... Nice work!
I'm with you, but would like to extend the homage to anyone who actually can play. FWIW: I once cut my strings with a wire-cutter during a rehearsal session because I was fed up with all long boring guitar solos. Only played "sololess" music for a year or so... ;)
