Who is Neil Oliver I hear you ask. .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Oliver Well, he's a mad climate change denier (amongst other unpleasant things); but he used to be the presenter of a TV Program that I didn't mind to watch. So this song is really a comment on that awful sink of the stomach when people from twenty years ago who you quite liked reveal themselves to be loonies later in life. (cf. Morrissey) What does it say about you?

So sad to hear that he's a denier. Good stuff. I watched his shows as well, but always thought he loved himself a bit too much. It was the way he flicked his hair back. Gotta be suspicious of that sort of thing. Anyhow, good stuff, as ever sir

I remember him and liking him years ago and he's not the only one that went, for the want of a better word, bonkers. I have had that stomach sinking feeling way too many times. Excellent rant.

this is the second song about a Neil, I hear tonight. And I just love rants. I didn´t know him yet, but he sounds just the person who deserves these lyrics. Love it. Great work

Was sitting giggling all the way through this, particularly when the fuzz guitar arrived. The guy really drank the kool-aid in a big way, didn't he? A warning for us all.
