I loved the lyrics when I read them. I felt they needed a gentle touch, so I kept things pretty simple with the hope of hitting the mark.

On the technical side, either Kontakt 7 or my DAW wouldn't allow me to render the violin as audio, so I couldn't smooth off the end of the last violin note. A modern day problem, I suppose.

This is such a sweet melody, especially your chorus. I love this gentle musical accompaniment. It fits the melody and lyric perfectly. Really nice lyrics too. I especially like the metaphor "I got on the wrong flight, but now that I'm back on the right track . . . " Really great song. I enjoyed it very much.

This is a lovely lyric - and the gentle flow of the melody is absolutely beautiful and conveys the sentiment so perfectly. A wonderful pairing of music and lyrics that feels so warm and happy.

I'm learning this year that "simpler is better". Nice simple arrangement over these terrific lyrics. Great collaboration, you two! ❤️

Sombre tune, but also somewhat uplifting! Love the wonky drums and the voice reminds me of an 80s new romantics vibe that i really dig!
