Lyrics
Verse 1 Just another evening Festive and Sublime Moonlight shines on this place I walk up and down the sidewalks But something's wrong Everywhere I go I see your face
Chorus It's another lonely night Tomorrow's just another lonely day It's just my broken heart Never be another girl like you
Verse 2 She sits under the shadow Of a willow tree Her jade green eyes looking at me I smile as I take my shades off And I wink an eye And then some guy takes her away
Chorus 2 Well, I remember when we were together And all the things we had How we laughed, how we cried Never be another girl like you
Bridge And when I see The fool i am And how love's just a game I resolve to start anew Still I call your name I call your name
Verse 1: Repeat Just another evening Festive and Sublime Moonlight shines on this place I walk up and down the sidewalks But something's wrong Everywhere I go I see your face
Chorus 1: Repeat It's another lonely night Tomorrow's just another lonely day It's just my broken heart There will never be another Never be another girl like you

Again the perfect song for this late evening here! I was singing along with you while listening to this so beautiful song! Great guitar playing, lyrics, vocals! I love it!
I really love your vocals and guitar on this. The earnestness is 100 and so effective. Very nice.
Love the guitar! This is really solid work - sweet melody, lovely heartbroken lyrics, and great country-folk vibe. Really like the change-up chord progression in the bridge. Enjoyed the listen!
Sweet and sad. I like how it moves from evening to night as we realize how sad things are (and then we move to tomorrow). Also the "it's just" is a nice contrast in phrasing to how sad and permanent ("there'll never be another girl like you"
Oh this is so beautifully sad. Your gorgeous guitar playing and lovely emotive vocals are such a pleasure to listen to. You have really captured fresh heartbreak like with this line "Everywhere I go I see your face ". You make us really feel for the narrator and his broken heart. Beautiful song.
Nice warm and homey elegy with just the perfect amount of longing
Your Liner Notes made me chuckle and drew me in. The fact that your Chorus doesn't rhyme makes it more impactful somehow.
