Had a bit of trouble with my sound interface not letting me adjust my mic levels (either too quiet or way too sensitive) which is annoying but nevertheless I'm happy with the overall result and had good fun writing and recording this.

Ooo is this song about the first few months of my band? Teeheelolhaha. Top tune, man! Great arrangement and mix, great lyrics (especially the chorus). The 3/4 sing-along vibes gives me a bit of a Pogues vibe, or maybe early Tom Waits.

I love that guitar sound. I can’t really tell how you did it….maybe it’s two with one being pretty thick and muted? Anyway it’s excellent. A relaxed anthem of sorts but definitely singable and memorable—though definitely dark!! I can imagine it at the end of a movie or a big singalong at a big festival. Your singing and lyrics are lovely as always. Very well done!
