The "presence is a light/ glad to have you in my life" line hit me with its sincerity. Sure, sincerity is the name of the game this entire song, but that line hit me hardest.

Again, your vocal delivery sets the stage for such tenderness and love here. I agree that there should be more love songs about friendship. This is a beautiful ode. The finger picking on the uke is particularly great here.

There absolutely should be more love songs about friendship! I’m in love with all my friends and it makes my life wonderful. I really appreciate that the hook is simple and direct, not couching it in “just friendship” or being cutesy - its love, it’s friend love! And it’s catchy too, great song

Yes! Friendship love. I adore this. I've always known my experience of friendship was different than many of the humans I encountered/what was expected. I love that queer and neurodivergent spaces are opening up this conversation even more.
