Mood Seed

A little more production than my other tracks. I made this music the other night but didn't have lyrics. I ended up just making them up as I recorded the vocals today. Based roughly on my recent IFS sessions with my therapist.

Lyrics

Little me underneath Buried deep not to see God’s eye undecide Carry too much weight to fly I gaze to your face Maybe too long I’m out of phase Animals come here to graze I only to come to make some waves

Spread a little sing song Spread a little bit more upon the road your on Spread a little mood seed Spread a little bit more in cosmic energy

I’m lost in a warm and safer place The protectors looking over me
There’s too many fires Nothing left to save I thank them for their time and grace

Spread a little sing song Spread a little bit more upon the road your on Spread a little mood seed Spread a little bit more in cosmic energy

I’m going to take this apart now watch me But it’s not going to back the same I’m going to give to a little back To the wind, the moon, and the earth

This is awesome! I'll be re-listening. It's such a bop even without paying attention to the lyrics, but then when you do, you get a whole new level of meaning.

I like how you rock that acoustic guitar..really got some attitude here! The layered parts on the vocals are cool. Ans why does this all sounds so psych?

Great vibe from the start. Wonderful sound. Rich and warm. And the harmonies ... awesome! There's such a lot of work in this... the layered keys and guitars. Nice solo! It's got some Crosby Stills et al, love the psychedelic cosmic component too. Great stuff.

really like the moving parts in the verse creates a real sense of rhythmic dynamism and purpose. Then the syncopation in the chorus is a great change up. Lovely bridge and you even throw in a solo for us to get hold of over that verse. really great song you have going here - production is great. Lovely singing and some tasty little tom fills to punctuate things. Great job.
