I agree with @roblyon5150 . Nice mandolin. I like the wistfulness of this song. Kind of a look back, maybe waaaaay back, so the pain is not so present or so angsty. Just the dull ache of loss. Bad enough, I suppose. What I like about your lyric is that you keep it simple. You say just enough and no more. Restraint is an art.

Nice Mandolin. I want to learn one so bad! When you said "Shy Boy" I thought you said "Cyborg" at first, lol. And now I think you should write a song about a cyborg. Just an idea. Cool song!

There's a fullness and warmth to your voice that attracts and holds a listener. I expect you could do a good job singing the phone book, so having good lyrics is a bonus.
