Lyrics
So be it, that's the way it goes You've laid out your border And your allegiance is strong
And now you ask of me To follow you under And give you a pass For all the stick you give to me
You only come around when you disagree I'm beginning to think you're not good for me And I don't think we need to be friends anymore
Everything you say I've heard somewhere before Just like the time you said, "Why don't you cry some more" Well, if you want to take my rights away I guess there's nothing left to say
You only come around when you disagree I'm starting to think you're not good for me And I don't think we need to be friends anymore
No point in pushing the issue You don't like me, I won't miss you You'll find somebody else who will play with you
I can't just agree to disagree Just because they're not beating on me You want to hold on to your views With no repercussions
You only come around to disagree I know for sure, now You're not good for me And I don't think we need to be friends anymore

Good song for the times. Well said and well played. The chorus really delivers and the music is great throughout.
I’ve had the good fortune to have had lifelong friends that are worth sticking with. One in a while someone has said or done something that has required me to let them go. Thanks for sharing this with us!
I recently quit Facebook for the reasons you describe so well. I like the backing vocal on the chorus. Gives it some nice depth.
