Water

Liner Notes
Hail, beloved FAWMers! Here's another tidbit from my daily doodle challenge. It's only a half-song, but I'm really happy with it.
Lyrics
Give me something to hold on to I give you my heart to keep with you
Some people, they don’t understand Slips through their hands like sand
And I’m no smooth talker This didn’t go the way I thought No maps, no paths, no author You’re swimming through my head Like water

This has such a cool off-beat rhythm to it. Your vocal's so smooth, definitely fits the theme. Write the rest! Kthnx? 😀
i think its all here, just need a couple more verses to round it out. love the sounds, the beats, the words, and the voice.
The electronic sounds drew me in from the get-go. And I love the melody. The lyrics are so evocative, too! Great start!
Oooo, love the sound you’ve created here! This definitely feels like a concept that’s worth developing further.
Great vocals, and great processing on the vocals. I'm always a sucker for slant rhymes, and "talker" "author" and "water" (and I guess "thought", now that I rescan) make a wonderful combination. "Maps" and "paths" too. Love the complexity of wanting something "to hold onto", not something that "slips through . . . hands like sand" and getting something "like water."
