Lyrics
No matter how much I cut It always grows back Like a plague
No matter how much I care for it It always reopens Exposing the wounds
A struggle to find balance
No matter how much I try It always works against me An endless struggle for stability
I don't know who I am I don't know what I am
I have been living a lie
It grows back, and reopens It cannot be removed, or stitched together
I yearn for answers And wish for a second chance

I'm not sure the struggle to find balance is always a worthy one. While this sits in a pretty different soundscape from where I play, the vocals make me think I spend too much time on clarity and miss some extreme emotions.
Sikk vocals. The dissonance makes me think of Deathspell Omega, which I love. Kind of like Dillinger Escape Plan playing black metal. The ending guitar brings some atmospheric spices to the mix. Again, absolutely shattering execution.
