to my ear, this sounds closer to the clash than the pogues, and even more like daveyboy. too many american protest perspective. i love this song because it is concerned with songs are just nationalistic me-tirades with no global what is going on all around the world, not just regional issues intensified by local fearmongers. i must admit that i, too have seen the spectre of the guillotine hovering over the town squares..and whose heads will roll will not be chosen because of any relative good or evil, but on the flip of the coin as to which corporation builds the guillotine
