Messing around with the pitch shift again and this came out. I'm pretty happy with how the rhythms flow in this one and I got a couple opportunities to incorporate some fun polyrhythms. Especially the one at the end, which was a bit of serendipity.

Good god. This is so good. Polyrhythms are nuts…like every tone/single note in music is actually just a polyrhythm playing at incredible speeds…like I think if you play a 5 on 4 on a snare and speed it up to like 1000bpm it’ll become an A note…that’s crazy to me.
This is lush and lovely melodically has stuff that would work in jazz funk or Motown but is suited perfectly here. Positively loved this…might be my fave so far
Crushing the polyrythms!! This is super crazy cool. Another great guitar jam!
Great implementation of oddtime, it still grooves really hard. It also makes me want to experiment more with pitchshifters.
The feel of this one reminds me a little of the Passion Pit album Gossamer, especially in moments where the pitch shifting creates a slight chiptune effect. I love when parts of a song in 7 that I can still nod along to.
Well this is fun! I'm gonna see Polyphonia open for SOAD later this year, and I'm getting huge vibes. The slower part around ~2:30 hits so good.
