literally the first line is me projecting SO HARD. But also, my whole family is kind of like this sometimes. My boys used to throw tantrums every day after they would nap when they were little toddlers. It was exhausting.
Anyway, woohooo im almost done with my 14 song goal! :o
Also is my brain literally programmed to sing in C?? This is like the second one in a row where i did the "just sing the melody to a click into my daw" method and then figured the key out later only to discover i am in C major, lol. Oh well! if it works it works, i guess.

I think a lot about how pessimism can feel like an existential threat when it comes from someone I love. It’s like my need for control is to have everyone agree everything is delightful even when it sucks. I liked that detour into To be fair…. to drop the storyline for a minute like a badass Buddhist, then right back to the RCGlasses.

The understated piano chords are nice, & the vocal melody. The variations in melody for the "glasses on" ending to each chorus is nice & I really like the way you rhythm out "gla--sses--on" there.

Your melodic leap up for "rose colored glasses on" in the chorus is such a hook. Charming little bit of pop. I confess I thought the first lines were setting this up for an innuendo-laded direction. I'm glad I was wrong. What's the quote from Bojack Horseman? "the thing about rose colored glasses is that it makes red flags just look like regular flags."

This is such a wonderfully upbeat song of optimism and positivity! I love the honesty in the bridge! This makes me smile! I love the melody and your lovely vocals!!! Great chorus!! This makes me smile and is a great song to start the day!
