Evacuate The Planet Earth

by @anthonykapfer

Liner Notes

this is a title that came to me in early january when the los angeles fires started. i decided to try to incorporate it into my developing potential space garage rock opera album.

i'd like to write more lyrics for the verses, and i don't love every line i have now, but i spent like 6 hours on this today, so i'm done for now.

Six hours well spent... This sounds really good! Love the warm sound of the guitars and the dissonant riffing. That's fire, indeed. "the human race is as good as dead", so perfectly sung. The ending with the breaks is killer.

The bridge and solo own, my dude.

Great lyrics! I love the space-specific interjections. “Warp speed!” I love the big major chords in “wee need to evacuate.” There’s a sense of impending doom but set against a fun musical backdrop.

"my developing potential space garage rock opera album" I'm gonna need the word potential dropped out of there. This needs to happen. But I'm a sucker for vintage sci-fi need stuff, so this concept is right up my alley. Another awesome tune man! Loving the chucka chuckas in the guitar riff in-between each line during the "human race is good as dead" section.

Very apocalyptic rushing feel to this and to get moving!

Heavy. You really got a groove going this FAWM. I look forward to buy all of these! Solid riff, great vocals, totally solid message!

That riff hits hard. Loved the lyrics and sentiment. The slapback delay (assuming that’s what it is) adds some cool texture to the vocals!

The heavy echo is effective, but a bit jarring when trying to follow the lyrics. I say this with full respect for your style. As I say, it is effective. And I like the intensity of the whole thing!
