Lyrics
Well, Ever since I got rabies I can't do nothin' right Ever since I got rabies I can't do nothin' right Well, my baby's mad at me I'm sleeping all alone tonight
I was born mighty thirsty, now I'm foaming at the mouth I was born mighty thirsty, now I'm foaming at the mouth I should have left that raccoon alone Instead of letting him in my house
Well, I'm afraid of air and water and I'm looking for a fight I'm afraid of air and water and I'm looking for a fight Well, when I see you in your yard, baby I wanna take a bite
Well, ever since I got rabies I can't do nothin' right Ever since I got rabies I can't do nothin' right Well, my baby's mad at me I'm sleeping all alone tonight

A universal theme that anyone can relate to!
Good work, old yeller! This would be great in a live set.
When I was maybe 5 years old and visiting my grandma's house, a chunky racoon got into the house in the middle of the night. I can still remember the commotion when grandma woke everyone up screaming at the thing, though I have no idea how it got back out of the house. I guess I was sent back to bed. Thanks for bringing back that glimpse of a memory.
I love that this is both funny at face value, and sort of a charged innuendo when you look twice. You can't hardly tell at first, not till they get to the point of slobbering and staggering around.
Ok the title, the title, how could you not investigate. That guitar is absolutely great. Pure solid blues, magnificent.
Lyrics are great, singing is great, but god, that guitar, SO GOOD
I could listen to that slide guitar all night. Hydrophobia never sounded so cool
