Good for you to do the guitar/singer route. I didn't know you did that. FAWM is a great place to try something new.
I like the meta-feel of talking about having that idea for a song when you wake up. I think we can all relate!

Your commitment to finishing it in time is amazing - way to get through that take! I'm usually starting to slightly flip out by my third one but you sound as cool as a cucumber! I really like the verse "I whittle my time a while" verse, it feels so luxurious.
