Love this. For me, teenagerhood is the most compelling song theme, when everything's happening for the first time and all the world's intense. This song captures so much in so little. "Stars and hearts and chores" is one of the greatest five-word lines I've ever heard, capturing three core aspects of that age. "Cars guitars and boards" isn't far behind. "T shirt hanging from your teeth" is a knockout line, at least in my head, where it brings an incredibly strong image.

The slower tempo, sporadic guitar, and your emotion-packed vocal gives this one tons of power, I think. I really like your lyrics which definitely pull a listener back to those teenage, hanging-out-at-the-mall years. I like "shitty silver turning green" and "T shirt hanging from your teeth" and the two "bored" lines among others. Nice work!

I must say I only heard the term in NZ! This is a very cool song! Pace and emphasis reminded me of Anika Moa! Bet not many would know that name. I really like this! That guitar is very hooky.
