Life Goes On

Liner Notes
#poprock #dreampop #synthpop The song I have used most time on this years fawm. And probably the one I am most proud of. And the inspiration is obvious: Propaganda and Art of noise. The synthpop bands that has settle my music taste. The soul so to say. And I am there, after all this years. (The final mix for release someday, to come) But for now, I think this is almost my best production ever. Thx to Fawm, and this great month, where focus is doing music.
Lyrics
@engebretsen.
(Spoken words:) Behind every smile There is a life experience People get hurt, but people got standed
Regarded tragedy, they see the joy of life Regarded tragedy, they see the joy of life
(Chorus) Life goes on Life goes on See the beauty in the sunshine See the beauty in the light
(Spoken words) Pain is happen Love is bittersweet You deal with tragedy You learn the heartbeat
(Chorus)
Life goes on Life goes on See the beauty in the sunshine See the beauty in the light

I like this way of letting us see what’s at your musical core. I love the way FAWM gives us room to delve like this. There’s this tenderness in the way the words and music speak to each other that gives me a new way into synthpop. So ephemeral and sparkling. Like light on a pond in a meadow.
Really nice warm synth sounds, enjoy the mix between spoken and sung, there is an uplifting feeling in the track as well.
Great chord changes before the chorus. This is the right contrast between being catchy and mysterious
Really enjoyed this. Those synth string swells are wonderful. The pulsing beat is so addictive. The whole thing just made me smile.
The 4 on the floor beat is acting like a heartbeat. Last week was not-so-great. Not a tragedy, but not uplifting, either. However, this chorus is serving as a bit of a reminder to me. What's also a bit of a teaching lesson is "learn the heartbeat of the tragedy" and be able to deal with it. Life goes on. Your arrangement here is gorgeous and your light n' airy vocal performance kinda reminds me of Green from Scritti Politti. Very cool track, my friend.
