Just fiddling around with my bass and melodica. No six-string guitars were harmed!

the contrast between the two instruments is huge ! La bass making sounds of a machine and the melodica close to an accordion, I had glimpses of this way more calm tune :

Turmoil and melancoly at the same time ! Great !

Had to give this a listen as I've been interested in experiences of "The Hag" (night terrors, sleep paralysis, alien abductions etc.) for decades. David Hufford's extraordinary book about them, "The Terror That Comes In The Night" is well worth a read. This captures the nature of the thing very nicely. That woozy melodica offsets the threateningly crunchy bass perfectly. Trippy and disturbing.

I gritted my teeth I was up for a fight, guess it was with the Goblin or maybe the hag. It is very ominous!

I'm in agreement with others here that this is a great title. And as I've said before, your use of the melodica to create (often creepy) soundscapes is unparalleled. I like your use of the bass here too. There's a pleasing distortion on this track that I guess is the natural sound of the melodica, but whatever it is, it's very cool. Nice work.

I'm sure the six-strings are huddled in a corner plotting to disable the guitarish sounds from occuring again. Put the melodica in a vat of hydrochloric acid, remove the three upper strings of the bass through robotic incisions while forcing the DAW to disable echo, reverb, overdrive, grunge, plunge, and all other effects if not connected to an axe.

That opening bass reminds me of the opening to "Magic Carpet Ride." I might have to go listen to that next - it's been decades! This was a really fun listen - loved the battle!

interesting and good title! That sounds very apocalyptic and eschatological! But then it becomes stronger, more powerful. Before the song ends, it really starts. A pattern emerges...

This has a great unsettling feeling that would place well in an anxious scene in a movie. I especially like when the bass gets more prominent and the menacing electric guitar at the end. Cool track.

Love the comment about no harm to the 6 stringers ! I can just picture the old hag and an angry spiteful goblin having it out with each other on some windswept hillside somewhere misty and wet...
