Lyrics

On the beach as the sun went down Only sand and birds for miles around We drank mojitos we were so much in love We had each other like hands have gloves

On the shore as the waves rolled in
We laughed and talked, we forgot where we’d been The ocean breeze seemed to whisper our names
We embraced in the dark, lost in the flames On the beach as the sun went down

With the moonlight reflecting on your face In that moment, I felt time slow its pace We were bound by the stars up above
Forever and always, lost in our love On the beach as the sun went down On the beach as the sun went down

The guitar sounds like the gentle waves. Overall such a warm portrait painted here, very beach at sunset, maybe seeing some docked sailboats rock back and forth in a gentle breeze. Really enjoyed listening 💚

Such a beautiful snapshot of a singular, perfect moment. "We laughed and talked, we forgot where we’d been" is maybe the most simple, yet elegant way of describing love that I've ever heard. Amazing work
