Don't Call Me

Liner Notes
jc: Near the end of fawm, sometimes I troll Liz's extensive lyric list for wordage that will manifest into a song. So many, so good! I fondly recall several, including the song about the red truck. :) Here's Liz's original post, which we can all probably relate to: https://write.fawm.org/songs/307248 I think one word came out differently, hope that's ok, otherwise just a few musical touches. Blame the late hour for wonky mixes and tired voices... oh-o-o-oh. #folk #countryfolk #folkrock
Liz says: I always love @johncrossman ’s gorgeous smooth vocals and musical sensibility. What an honor to have his gift of music on a quirky set of lyrics! I really love his sound and how he brought this song to life! Thanks John, for your talent, time, and thoughtfulness! Much appreciated!

Good old reframing works every time. Liz lyrics make it quite creative. It's great to hear John's vocals again. The whistling outro is gold!
Great reframing, alright! I think "flexibly minded" and "discriminating" made me smile the most.
Nice doubled vocals! Sounds great! Lyrics are catchy and cool. Great collab!
Love the whistling! That’s a perfect touch. Great vocal harmonies and vocal performance in general! Really enjoyed this 💚
I'm still quite amused with these lyrics, and a big proponent of reframing. It's a great skill. I like this upbeat, head bobber. It's so happy an smiley.
Love those rephrasing couplets (and I'm in the middle of a song that also mentions entropy . . .), and how they've been rendered musically (I especially love the "o-o-o-ohs," and how "the "robust reframing skills" falls rhythmically and melodically. This is fun throughout.
Nice double/harmonied vocals! The lyrics are well-crafted with the hook/title starting each verse.
Liz, great lyrics! I love the gentle push-back and unwillingness to be labeled. And John, way to give it just the vibe it needed and bring it all home with your inimitable musical skills.
