E Pluribus Cavies Porcelli

Liner Notes

Out of many--guinea pigs! Another version of "I've got too many guinea pigs', @ponygal1961 (the haunted guineapigperson) voiced by @billwhite51 . I recorded the background at a poitn where my hands hadn't recovered from the Revenge of the Lime Mortar and was most unhappy with the early tinkly bits (and also recording glitches). But wholly out of time to re-record, so tough... #schlock-horror #ambient #haunted #animals

E PLURIBUS CAVIES PORCELLI (TOO MANY GUINEA PIGS) Lyrics Copyright © 2025 Sarah Terrien Robertson Music Copyright © 2025 TJ Fatchen All Rights Reserved APRA-AMCOS

I've got too many guinea pigs It start out with two then three That turned to five, eight and more Dammit now there's twenty four

Some are little Some are big There's just far too many Guinea pigs

I have beige and red and black Someday I'll get my sanity back

They're darling pets They really are As long as you don't go too far

I have a job And a home to keep Hell, who needs to sleep?

I've got too many guinea pigs It start out with two then three That turned to five, eight and more Dammit now there's twenty four

They're a lot of fun When there's just a few But then you get into rescue

Where did all these critters even come from? I think they showed up 'cuz I'm dumb

I've got too many guinea pigs

Love that spoken word with the punctuation of movie soundtrack music. I was along for the ride.

Oh my! This is the suspenseful dramatic GP version. The music stabs are fabulous as is the narration. I worry a bit about the next chapter for this song….. I envision some terrible squeaking and blood splattering everywhere… it is not a pretty sight that this song foreshadows. The other version of this song, the next chapter had me at 72 GP with someone building a larger home and still complaining and being dumb about it but just trying to keep up with the growing number… this one, though, I think … and then there were none…..

Lol. The Vincent Price rendition is priceless. I'm touched that the story has moved so many in such a fine array of voices. Thank you friends!!

This is hysterical! I love the dramatic, horror-movie accompaniment to the lyrical lament about guinea pigs, and Tim's vocals deliver the message with feeling. Really, really fun piece!

I don't even know why, but this song has captivated me like a good movie, it's intriguing... And that crackling sound around the 2-minute mark... Chills... addictive chills...

This is unhinged! Love it. The spooky atmosphere is really cool and well complimented by the lyrics
