My final song for this year's FAWM. What is it about? I suggest listening to it twice: once thinking of it as about something profound, like the end of life, then again as about finishing up FAWM. You decide. 😄

In the end you add it up one last time, Look back at each noble deed and each crime And perhaps find out the reason and rhyme. See the final score in the end.
In the end you can at last come to rest. All is done as you look into the west And look back to see if you did your best. There's no more to do at the end.

In the end there is a place for a start, Brought together from what falls apart. Birth and change must come in life and in art. Each beginning comes from an end.

Starting at the end is all good for me. And the projection of those amazing vocals hit me straight away. WOW what a voice. And you are totally right it doubles up as mega profound and also the whole feeling i got ending FAWM. I really beautfiul progression of the chords to bring something truly special for the final song

Lovely! It's rather like a hymn. Seen in that light, we can see this as a spiritual song, a reflection on ultimate ends, the beginning of the metaphysical. Or something

Oh yes. I went for 14 songs and left it at that (I had to finish early, we were going away) ... listening to this it sounds like you felt a little like I did with that "last song"? For me it was something to explore, something to say... and a song came from that, but perhaps it was a little surprising too... more than expected...

Nice. Finding the reason and rhyme. That does sum up FAWM, as I just uploaded my #14. And as to your liner notes, it works both ways.

I love that the song ends with... a start ! Well done. My favorite verse is the one about "undone tasks" remaining and "something incomplete for all our pains".
