I had to look up "Younger Dryas", so not only was I treated to a cool retro-styled (and one of my fave retro styles!) thumper, I learned something. Win-win!

Can we talk about the Bermuda Triangle and Amelia Earhart and the rest of those mysteries from third grade. There’s a circling in the music that feels both like a whole society sinking into the sea and an obsessive shallow dive.

Brilliant approach. Most of us have told them to get away while they can. But this is closer to how I hope the close encounter would go. If they can get to us, they are obviously more advanced - so get us some answers! Yes, please!

They named the Dryas well. It always sounded possessed of some cosmic horrors. I love the older sound you went for. Somewhere between "Calling Occupants of an Interplanetary Craft" and... I'm drawing a blank on the lady's name. Being from the nineties, so many of those styles of voice feel like distant memories.
