Clouded Spring
Liner Notes
I've started working on my piece during February, but didn't manage to complete it by 28/02. Thank you for listening and for sharing your thoughts. I'm happy to collaborate if you are interested. Please let me know. The title is open to suggestions.

That soft almost-Spanish-guitar sound plays very nicely against the synth bells. I think Neil's right; this does feel like it's from a Michael Caine spy thriller. Given that all of the most memorable of those had scores by the Guv'nor himself, John Barry, I'd say you absolutely nailed it...
Instrumentation reminds me a little of guitar and vibraphone (I'm not sure if that's what they are, but that's what I'm hearing) and the chords have a wonderful open jazziness that definitely make me think of incidental music in a 60s or 70s movie. Possibly a spy thriller starring Michael Caine. Really evocative, I loved listening to it.
I love the dissonant chord voicings sprinkled throughout. Sometimes it feels like a walk through a dark forest.
A very pleasant listen. It sounds like it's the theme for a television show. The tune certainly took me somewhere.
this is really cool! definitely feels like it belongs in a video game or something (in a good way).
Bluesy right out of the gate. Very cool how that bassline intro gets repeated moments in in the higher register. The sudden shift into spaciousness is very cool. I like that reverbed bell sound quite a bit!
This feels like I've found a magical cave and am meandering about, wondering where it leads. Very nice, and eerie! The strings coming in was unexpected, almost as if we've found a large chamber!
What really strikes me about this is the way I just don't knwo what's going to happen next, either with the chords or the melody. And I mean that absolutely as a compliment! Heading minor one minute, then a wee bit jazzy, then cheerful and resolving, before veering away at the last second... It's a fascinating journey for the ears 😀
