My Farewell Woman

Liner Notes

Lyrics

You seem destined to be the one That farewell woman I chase That farewell woman I can’t keep The one that always says goodbye

My farewell woman Who shines her light from afar Always the farewell woman The one who says goodbye

I remember that night on the bar stool You told me how it would be We tried the best we could
But there you are, gone again

My farewell woman Who shines her light from afar Always the farewell woman The one who says goodbye

If I chased you around the earth
And met you in a different life Would you stand and wait for me Or just waive me on

My farewell woman Who shines her light from afar Always the farewell woman The one who says goodbye

What an interesting lyric! Really enjoyed the vibe here. Vocals sound like Rod Stewart.

Love the spoken delivery (as others have said). This is really catchy and it's going to be in my head for a bit!

Yeah, I'm digging the repeated guitar line. The almost spoken, vocal line works well with the guitar, too.

Love the Riff! And the Dylanesque vocal delivery!

Great title and word pairing - very original. I enjoyed all the guitars - that riff is so catchy and it pairs so nicely with the rhythm guitar.
