Architects

Liner Notes
I like doing a first fruits song, for this one I used one of my new toys (Minifreak) with just a simple arpeggiator.
Lyrics
Press my hands together Holding palm to palm Lift them up above Welcome in the calm
Take a slow deep breath Open hands and mind Let the healing vibes infuse Spirit is aligned
The earth in its abundance
A yield beyond what grows
Delicious ripe understanding
As we reap what we sow
Designers
Looking up to the skies
The architects of our lives
Thinking about some fruits Juicy fresh and sweet Feeling like this life Is such a special treat
Valuable lessons In the passage of time Ready to be picked From the tree or the vine
The earth in its abundance
A yield beyond what grows
Delicious ripe understanding
As we reap what we sow
Designers
Looking up to the skies
The architects of our lives
Press my hands together Holding palm to palm Lift them up above Welcome in the calm

Calming and beautiful! How great to get to use your new toy!
This is a delightful combo of things - the lyrics are contemplative and content, but the synth makes it feel almost melancholy? Like, floating through space. I really like it!
oh charming synth part with the delay, lots of warmth and spaciness!
The simplicity is beautiful. I fight against the desire to add lots of elements when more often than not, it only needs what you've done here: lovely melody and a consistent vibe musically.
That's a lovely song. You could have arranged it a bunch of different ways, but I think the absolute bare-bones of that tinkly arpeggiator and your wonderful voice is perfect for this thoughtful song.
