#pop #rock #indierock #poprock #altpop #indiepop i feel like this song is very stylistically reminiscent of marc with a c, and thats a fact im happy with. this song is derivative of a demo i wrote on cassette a few months ago, and at some point i accidentally taped over most of it, leaving only 10 seconds left of the original. so except for the first two lines and the chords (except the bridge) this song is brand new. :]

No one can win an internet argument (including on this site, where unfortunately they do happen too). The only way to "win" is not to play and make a fun, droll, snarky song on the topic. Which you've done. And the song is an absolute winner. Thanks for making me smile!

The first verse feels like the way the voices in my head won't turn off when I stop scrolling. It feels like maybe the singer's arguments don't really end even when tucked into bed...But then the wordless syllables at the end feel like they might really be changing the channel to something healthier...
