trust is a strong word for what we have more honest calling it complacent but mad we are trapped and our cage has a mat that we sit in our crap begging for better lives but theres no fruit left to grab

and if it makes you mad you have no options left get up and go to work smile and pretend your glad for all the crumbs youve earned the sum of all youve learned you've been burned, and they expect you to asuage your doubts

no rat race was every effective at improving the lives of the unwashed collective the king has bananas that all happy monkeys would like to once savor but won't have the chance or the means

Great punk/alt/grunge sound washing over the lyrical ode to modern frustrations. I think this is a great, angry song about the societal push to cave in and become part of an unjust economic system.

I read "smile and pretend your glad" wondering how you would handle the phrasing in that section, and I really liked it. This is a really raw-emotion kind of song.

That's some wild drumming. Loads of energy. I get some Placebo vibes. I like the harmonies and some great sounds in there. You managed to get it all to gel in the mix too, which is pretty hard in my experience, especially when there's a lot happening in the track.
