Holy cow! This is the protest song we absolutely need right now. That chorus is pure gold, and the lyrics are perfect skewering of the hypocrisy we are seeing right now. Put that all together with the intricate guitar work, and this song is a winner. I agree with the comments about Arlo Guthrie, but I'm going back a generation to Woody, as well. Great job!

I agree, I can hear Arlo!!! The lyrics are so very clever and memerable!! Add the juanty tune and great vocals and viola!! A great country tune I'd listen to over and over!!

While I'm sad that John Prine is no longer with us, I'm glad he's not having to witness the current state of things and that there are still great songs like this being written. Some harsh truths and keen observations here, but it's hard not to smile when it's delivered with such clever lyrics and sweet, sweet music. Well done!
