These days I had to comment extensively on a political scandal in Germany: for my video blog, which I produce myself - which took time. So here is just something very simple. In the mood to finger an A7 chord on the guitar, I let myself drift. With a bit of delay in the sound, but without a pick in my hand (and without a metronome or anything else), I pushed the record button. Spoken: my two cents to climate change.

Gear: Electric guitar WILDSAU (Ibanez S771PB-NTF) with preamp BÖMBUR (Fender Mustang Micro Plus), mike GODOCHNOCH (Røde NT1-A), recording unit ROXX (Zoom R4). Mixdown with MICKI (Acoustica Mixcraft Pro Studio 10), delay TAUSENDMUND (tc electronic TC 2290) and reverb WAHLHALL (tc electronic DVR 250).

The vibe of this feels tantric though I’m guessing whatever spiritual component this evokes isn’t necessarily leading to anything carnal. I’m thinking that one chord and the twangy guitar play a major role. This is a matter that stirs much conversation.

…and that growl, dude. That growl also supports my case. Just sayin. It’s a sexy beast growl. I think you know this.
