First FAWM of 2025. Shout out to my boy Clayton Smith of Mousse Cannon for sending me this bassline to get things started.

Not sure how I feel about what I did to his bass work. It turned into a whodunit type beat.

Heck yes! Love the mix of sounds here. Definitely a high speed mystery heist scene awaits this. Getting some Todd Terje vibes from the arps and general sound. Very cool

so cool. the bass line is terrific right from the start and I think your treatment does it justice. nice frequency spread with tasty high flute parts and some crunchy hats. and I love the left turn at :44 (did you cut up/repurpose the original bass part?)
