This was a super-interesting and fun listen. The samples you chose give this an instant retro-vibe and I like the sounds you got from the Minifreak. I love the idea of one synth pieces, although I usually wind up not holding myself to that limitation when I attempt them. So it's great to see someone who does and winds up with audio gold. Nice job!
"Oh, oh. Here comes the chisel." Love it. Great choice for public domain audio and a fabulous and surprising audio track.
Wow this is such a cool idea, I'll definitely be trying to come back and listen to more of these. ♻️
The audio samples automatically create this odd, weird, dreamlike soundscape. There's something compelling that draws me in. This music made me feel like I was back in a mall in the 80's, feeling nostalgic, innocent, and excited about the future.
The track has a smooth driving beat that goes with the dialogue, just slow driving down the road on a sunny day and chill.
I love how much space and depth is in the beat! The glitchy stuff is really killer too. Gorgeous stuff!
I love this bell/synth/sample combination, it feels like a menu screen for a video game to me :)
@jamesstaubes said it's like wandering in a mall in the 80's, and that's a perfect way to put it. It's like getting lost in a distorted memory, with the stretches and warps and echoing voices.
