This is the challenge about a poisonous plant. My plant was Honey Bush. #poisonerchallenge #needsmusic #needscollab #needsvocals
Lyrics
Oh Sweet Honey
Chorus Oh sweet honey You came into my life for a reason You showed me a way to change my life The bitterest pill was sweetened
When I looked at her Sweet sweet face I never thought the Rumours were true We shared a bed She was in my head Then I learnt I was a fool
I sat back and watched her swallow Her eyes shifting Her promises were hollow
Chorus Oh sweet honey You came into my life for a reason You showed me a way to change my life The bitterest pill was sweetened
Yeh I found my sweet Honey bush You were beautiful So fresh and new I chopped you up In the name of love Then added you to her food
I sat back and watched her swallow Her eyes shifting Her promises were hollow
Chorus Oh sweet honey You came into my life for a reason You showed me a way to change my life The bitterest pill was sweetened
My love is for the Honey bush It helped put an end to us And for this I’ll be forever grateful She’s six foot under And my life is stable
I sat back and watched her swallow Her eyes shifting Her promises were hollow
Chorus Oh sweet honey You came into my life for a reason You showed me a way to change my life The bitterest pill was sweetened

The way the melody shifts in mood works so well against that walking bass. Great lyrics and a timeless story made new by a poisonous plant, hehehe
I really like the idea of giving the plant a part in the story. Cool collab, you two. Thank you for joining the challenge!
@cicpisces demo up, hope it is ok
I can hear a blues song here so if you're happy with that I'll sort out some music asap and post it
This is cleverly put together, especially the title. It took a minute for me to work out who was who and find that the poisonous plant was a party to a love triangle situation. That’s good storytelling.
I absolutely love how you humanized the plant. Such a brilliant storyline and smooth flow. The music was fantastic too! You really nailed the challenge, great job all around!
