I like the edgy broodiness in the musical backdrop here, and some really nice solos too!

Very nice. That thunderous bass is rock-solid and the guitars sit on top of it very comfortably indeed. Definitely a "good" kind of idea.

This is cool. Sounds great. There's a nice amount of dynamic contrast going from the single note lines to the strummed chords by themselves. And that bass holds the rhythm down nicely. I like this a lot.
