I don't think production is songwriting. I don't think arrangements are neither. And my a capella performance wasn't a creative choice. The song was written while I was driving. I thought up some words and sang them to a melody, which is exactly my definition of songwriting. This one will be fun with cowboy chords on my 'coustic and I'm certain it can work as a duet where I sing the first verse/chorus and a woman sings the 2nd half Loretta Lynn style. Then we sing the final "we've drifted apart, I gave you my heart and now I want it back." Woot!
