Mama

Lyrics
The melting snow the blooming rose To the freshly falling leaves In time all things must come and go No one ever really knows Oh Mama Her time is fading fast But her memories they will last Emotions like a roller coaster What to do with her toaster Oh Mama The memories they will never fade There was so much more I wanted to say Just another chance, one more day Oh Mamma
Mama may be gone But she will never be forgotten The times that we had no matter how good or bad Will be in my heart forever Oh Mama The tears and joy that we shared With every moment spent always showed how much she cared Always show kindness she did dare Oh Mama Her faith so strong Always taught right front wrong So in control A sister An Aunt. Cousin, niece but to me she will always be none other Than my Mother
I like this tribute to your mother. I like how you balance the esoteric 'emotions like a roller-coaster with the mundane 'what to do with her toaster - I know my mum has struggled greatly with tidying out all my dad's things after he passed - the emotional attachment to inanimate objects can be huge. 'I can really empathise with your words as will everyone who has lost a parent. Nice work here.
